I'd really like to see those laser grips for the 14-45 too.
I've been checking your website frequently for years, and even sent you a request once.
On my Beretta 92 I allready have CTC grips installed, but on my Para I had to go with a inferior internal LaserMax unit.  Angry
Im not happy at all with the LaserMax and would trade it for a CTC ANY DAY!
If you decide to make one, I'll be one of the first to buy (if I can get hold of one that is).
Price is really NOT an issue with CTC grips - wich really sets the standard.

Greetings from Norway.

I found a interresting post regarding the Para P1445 on another gun forum, posted by PR Director Mike Zoormajian (Crimson Trace Lasergrips) in 2002:

Quote:

"ParaOrd - The problem here (and one we have been fighting with for a while) is the width of the grip. The application is a no-brainer given the popularity of these pistols, but keeping the grip a manageable width is proving a challenge. Stay tuned on this one."

Any comments on this one?

I'm still stayin' tuned!

I noticed that two new individuals have requested C/T grips for the ParaOrdinance 14-45.  I am keeping the faith knowing that this is one of your most requested "new products".
Thanks,

Quick question for both of the Para owners here and for any future posters...

Approximately how old are your 14-45 guns?

I bought my Para P14-45 in 2004, I think the gun was made in 2003.

So it's around 5 years old and has the newer style grip frame.

CT grips for this gun is my most anticipated gun related item.
It's really hard to wait, I'm almost considering the Surefire X400 Light / Laser combo.
That said, even if I was to buy the X400, I would change back to a CT grips / X200 setup, if CT grips are made.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everybody!

I felt as though I had gotten a little “pushy” with my postings requesting production of CT grips for the ParaOrdinance 14-45.  Hence, I had not visited the forum link for a few months.  I did so today and saw that Patrick was requesting information from Para 14-45 owners relative to the age of their weapons.  I purchased mine in March of 2007, and it remains one of my favorites.  I hope you are pursuing production – keeping the faith!

Hi folks,

Having been busy with other matters, it has been a protracted period of time since I checked in on (the still sought after) C/T grips for ParaOrdinance's PX14-45 double stack.  I was heartened to see that a number of other parties had expressed a similar desire to purchase this model whenever it became available.  We are still out here - please keep us in mind!!

Thanks, Paul

The Hi-Cap Para's didn't make the cut this year, but please, do not give up hope....it's always on the top of the list.

Crimson Trace Grips for the 14-45:  I recently purchased a single stack Para, so that I could utilize your grips while I wait for C/T to produce an offering for the 14-45.  I was a little disappointed to learn that, although you offer three 1911 models, none of them includes the option for a rubber overmold composition (such as you produce and I have on my Browning Hi-Power).

I much prefer the softer composition of the overmold; given its ability to absorb shock and provide a slightly tacky surface that prevents the support hand from losing its position with recoil (which for me is a problem with your hard plastic composition 1911 grip).

I wish to respectfully request that you consider an overmold offering when, and if, you ever get to the 14-45.  Moreover, I want to suggest that when you offer multiple styles for a single weapon (such as you do for the 1911), that at least one offering be available in the overmold composition.  Thanks, P.S. Still watching for a new product offering for the Para 14-45 - which I hope will be in a rubber overmold.  Thanks, Paul
