I'm old Army and I see alot of us and Marines, Navy, AirForce, Coast Guard, National Guard,Reserve, etc. around here. It's nice to hear old, current and future warriors here, spoutin' their stuff. It reassures me that the spirit is still alive despite what you may hear coming out of Washington. This country has always seemed to slide backwards until a crisis arises and then rises to meet it. I believe that is what will happen now and forever, despite what our enemies may think. As even Obama says, have hope ( keep your firearms oiled ). Keep informed and vote, do not be complacent and lose your freedoms. Be active, attentive and in their face with your opinions...they DO count!

Me too, Big Green Machine from 76-96, still serving since, albeit with a bigger butt and gut, and a goatee! Supported USAREUR, then 3SBCT2ID in Mosul, 13th COSCOM in Balad, back in 2004, and since then, Five Sided Basement, then TRADOC, now JFCOM.

US Army, '90-'95.  Still trying to keep in shape, but there's no way I can do some of the things I did back when I was wearing BDU's.
