Although, I too am disapointed with this latest news, I'm not quite ready to give up on a CT grip laster for the HK45 and HK45c (as well as the various P30 varients)...  However, it is frustrating....  Frankly if there was another option for me, I'd probably give it a shot, but since I can't stand laser/light combo's, I'm kinda locked into the a CT style laser system....

As much as I'd love to see CTC produce LGs for the HK45/HK45C, I can understand their decision not to fast track it. From a marketshare standpoint, the HK45 and HK45C don't sell in nearly the numbers that Glocks, XDs, and M&Ps do. Furthermore, the removable backstrap of the HK45/HK45C doesn't lend itself to LGs the way the M&P does. So CTC would be looking at a solution closer to the XD/Glock "grips" than the traditional approach.

This is my second year in a row carrying a gun without Lasergrips, and frankly it sucks. But for some reason, I couldn't get CTC to drop everything and make a one-off engineering sample just for me. Sheesh!  Grin

What I am upset about is I have been told for months that a laser grip for the HK45C was in development, and now I find out it was a load of crap. There is NOTHING out there available for the HK45C other than the GIGANTIC rail mounts, and they really do suck!

I do not expect CT to drop what they are doing and develop me a laser grip, but I do expect them to do what they told me in the beginning, that a grip will be ready soon. That is why I am so disappointed with CT right now.

I understand the market share side of the equation, makes sense to first put your efforts into something that will sell in volume.  however, I too agree with markbet....  beside, it couldn't hurt the bottom line to sell other models in addition to the high volume sellers?
